Welcome to the fund raiser terms and conditions for the Big Give2 and Friends group of Websites (“the Website”).

This privacy policy govern your access to and use of this website and various online tools and services that Big Give makes available to donors, fundraisers, charities / non-profits, registrants, users of an online social networking community Friends and all others users of the Big Give2 service, collectively called Users of the Big Give2 Website (“You”).

The Website and fundraising services are funded by “BIG GIVE2 PTY LTD (ABN 38 616 054 730) ” but are provided free of charge to you. We do not charge any service fees to you. 
Please note that by visiting or registering with our Website, you are agreeing to the practices detailed below so please read on to find out how information relating to you will be treated as you use our site.

Information we collect 

When you create a fundraising page, we collect information such as your name, email and date of birth. When you make a donation on our Website, we collect your name, email, address and credit card details. We only use your payment details for the purpose of processing your donation. We do not store your credit card details. When you join Friends social networking site, we also collect information you provide to us such as your name, email and date of birth. You may choose to provide additional information beyond your basic profile. Providing additional information beyond what is required at sign-up is entirely optional, but enables our users to better identify each other and more effectively connect and interact with their network. 

Our Website also collects information from users that is unique, but cannot be linked to a specific individual, such as IP address and browser type. A user's session will be tracked, but each user will remain anonymous. We gather this information on all visitors to the Website for systems administration purposes and to track user trends, such as our most popular features. We do not link IP addresses to any personally identifiable information.


Like many other Web sites, the Website uses a standard technology called "cookies." Cookies are small pieces of information stored on your hard drive - not on our site. They can help make the Internet experience quicker and more convenient. Cookies allow our users to login without entering their ID and password each time they use the Website. For fund-raisers and donors, we will pass your information (name, email, address, donation amount) to the charity / non-profit organization when you either register as a fund-raiser or make a donation. If a donor wishes to remain anonymous, that is fine. If you wish to stop receiving further communication from us, please contact us directly.

In all other cases, we will not sell, lease or exchange your personal data to other parties without first obtaining your express consent, unless required by law or to protect your membership.

Inviting Friends

If you invite a friend to our service, we will ask you for your friend's email address. We will automatically send the friend emails inviting them to join. The Website does not sell these email addresses or use them to transmit any communication other than the invitation to join. The Website stores this information for the sole purpose of sending this invitation and for tracking the success of our Invite functionality. The friend receiving the invitation may contact us at support@biggive2.org to request the removal of this information from our database.

Links to other websites

The Website may contain links to other web sites. Please be aware that our Website is not responsible for the privacy practices of other sites our users choose to visit. If our users provide any information directly to parties other than our Website, different rules may apply to the use or disclosure of the personal information disclosed. We encourage you to investigate and ask questions before disclosing your personal information to third parties.

Privacy protection for Children

We will not knowingly provide access to the Website to persons under the age of thirteen (13). If we later learns that any user is under the age of thirteen (13), we will take appropriate steps to remove the user’s information from the database and we will restrict this individual from future access to our service.

Opt-out of Email

Users of the Website may choose not to receive email notifications at their registered email addresses.
